What to Do With Your Yard Waste

Yard waste is banned from all Delaware landfills. The best way to handle most yard waste is to compost or mulch it on-site.

Many Delaware trash haulers offer yard waste service. Evergreen Waste Service gives all Pepper Ridge customers a discounted rate of $87 per quarter for recycle and trash or $111 per quarter for recycle, trash, and yard waste. Community members need to contact Evergreen directly at 302-635-7055 to sign up.

Residents can also take their yard waste to the Polly Drummond Hill Community Yard Waste Site across from the Judge Morris Estate entrance.
